You may know Delphine Vignoble’s Purity earrings from the latest issue of our magazine. Their look combines clean design with rustic texture and subtle colour palette which is not dissimilar to the colour scheme of Delphine’s Métissage (Crossbreeding) series that we would like to introduce today.
Delphine loves to test new products and discover the characteristics and possibilities of each polymer clay brand. The new series is the result of her experimenting with Pardo polymer clay. She likes bracelets very much, they are her specialty, and her initial idea was to make a flexible bracelet only of polymer clay. The whole process was quite interesting.
Delphine mixed Cernit and Pardo clays, used her mahogany imitation technique and added a bit of ethnic touch with the chevron pattern. The bracelet closes with a buckle entirely made of polymer. The buckle is Delphine’s original design and there are no magnets or other metal components. The design of the pendant is also noteworthy – it is hollow and double sided. And why the name of the series? Delphine says it’s due to the mixture of material, techniques, patterns and colours.

Delphine moc ráda zkouší nové produkty a objevuje vlastnosti a možnosti různých značek polymerové hmoty. Její nová série je výsledkem experimentování s polymerovou hmotou Pardo. Miluje náramky, které jsou její specialitou, a u zrodu kolekce tedy stál nápad vyrobit průžný náramek výhradně z polymerové hmoty. Celý proces byl velmi zajímavý. Delphine smíchala hmoty Cernit a Pardo, použila svoji techniku imitace mahagonu a dodala etnický nádech použitím vzoru chevron.
Náramek se uzavírá na přezku celou vyrobenou pouze z polymeru podle Delphinina originálního návrhu. Neobsahuje žádné magnety ani jiné kovové komponenty. Design přívěsku také stojí za povšimnutí – je dutý a oboustranný. A odkud pochází jméno celé kolekce? Delphine vysvětluje, že to je díky kombinaci materiálu, technik, vzorů a barev.
