Irina Akulina has been working with polymer clay since 2012. She graduated with technical master degree, however recently she has been discovering the beauty of the polymer clay in combination with other materials such as stainless steel.
In her latest work Irina is using various surface techniques as crackling or textures with accent of acrylic paints. The overall composition is particularly interesting.
Also worth mentioning are the unusual jewellery components Irina uses in her work.

Irina Akulina pracuje s polymerovou hmotou od roku 2012. Je původně vystudovaná inženýrka, poslední dobou ale objevuje krásy polymeru v kombinaci s dalšími materiály jako je například nerezová ocel.
Její nejnovější výrobky jsou tvořené různými povrchovými technikami jako je například krakelování nebo textury zvýrazněné akrylovými barvami. Zajímavá je především jejich celková kompozice. Za zmínku také stojí nevšední bižuterní komponenty, které ve své tvorbě používá.
