SOUNDS LIKE A PLAN?
Based in Tokyo, Japanese polymer clay artist Kim Gisei has been working with polymer clay for almost ten years. Drawing inspiration from nature, architecture, and historical paintings, he creates incredibly intricate artworks filled with delicate details and remarkable precision.
Since 2022, Kim has been teaching polymer clay classes at Ginza Soleil in Tokyo, sharing his passion and techniques with nearly 100 students through workshops, events, and tutorials.
Inspired by traditional Japanese cloisonné art and beautiful crane paintings, this class brings both technical knowledge and interesting construction ideas to your work. Gisei will teach you how to create delicate patterns using thin extruded polymer clay strands, while exploring the unique possibilities of glass inclusions to achieve rich, translucent colors and a beautiful, glass-like finish.
WITH A CLEVER MAGNETIC CLOSURE
You'll also discover how to transform your detailed design into an elegant brooch with a unique magnetic closure, an interesting construction technique you can apply to other pieces of your artwork.
Karen Pratt is an American polymer clay artist whose lifelong passion for knitting, sewing, and textile arts led her to explore these techniques with polymer clay. Having discovered the material during the pandemic in 2020, she quickly developed a fascination with its possibilities.
Inspired by geometric art and the relationships between form, color, and space, Karen enjoys experimenting with unconventional approaches, pushing the boundaries of what polymer clay can become.
Would you believe it's possible to knit with polymer clay? Karen will teach you a fascinating way to transform flexible polymer clay strands into a beautifully textured cuff bracelet! Using the Czextruder, translucent clay, and colorful pigments, you'll create delicate ombré gradients and learn how to knit with polymer clay, stitch by stitch.

Konstantinos Karalis is a Greek polymer clay artist, designer, and creative entrepreneur based in Athens, whose passion for the material began in 1993. With a background in interior decoration, furniture design, and visual merchandising, he brings a unique perspective to his creations, exploring shapes, structures, and unconventional techniques.
In 2013, he founded Pilofori and Piloforizo, gradually building a creative business dedicated to polymer clay. Today, he also runs The House, a creative space in Athens that brings together artists, designers, workshops, and a shared passion for handmade art.

Meet Jan Montarsi, a passionate polymer clay artist and enthusiastic experimenter with over 20 years of experience! Known for his creative use of mica clays, extrusions, and innovative techniques, his work has been featured in several polymer clay magazines, and he has shared his knowledge through workshops and YouTube tutorials.
Jan is also the inventor of several creative tools, a former president and board member of the IPCA, and remains actively involved in the polymer clay community.

An American jewelry artist and former graphic designer, Jane Pellicciotto began with metalsmithing before discovering polymer clay. Drawn to its tactile nature and endless possibilities for experimentation, she enjoys the freedom and spontaneity the material offers.
Inspired by urban environments, architecture, and everyday surroundings, Jane explores patterns, textures, and color palettes, translating them into abstract designs that combine modern minimalism with a distinctive handmade character.
Discover how a simple square extruder disc can be transformed into contemporary jewelry. In this class, Jane will show you how to create dimensional designs by combining overlapping arcs, geometric shapes, and playful asymmetry. Lucy Štruncová is a Czech polymer clay artist, designer, and founder of Polymer Week, who fell in love with polymer clay at the age of 11. Her passion for the medium gradually grew into an international community, bringing artists and enthusiasts together through educational events, publications, and creative projects.
Focusing on precision-based polymer clay designs, with an emphasis on composition, color, and construction, her artworks combine clean aesthetics, innovative approaches, and visual depth.
Lucy will guide you through a fun technique of transforming white polymer clay into a colorful, contemporary necklace full of playful curves and organic striped patterns on its surface. The extruder has been part of the polymer clay world for a long time, but have you really explored all its possibilities?
This time, our event is dedicated to discovering the incredible potential of this tool, exploring unique techniques and creative projects that take advantage of extruding polymer clay into fascinating shapes, patterns, and designs that would be nearly impossible to achieve by hand!
Please note that you don't need to own a Czextruder to participate in the event and create the projects taught in the classes. Any brand of polymer clay extruder will work.
Bringing together Lucy Clay and Polymer Week, we're connecting two wonderful parts of the polymer clay world for the very first Lucy Clay event!
Together, we'll explore how Lucy Clay tools can be used in different ways, discover new techniques, and create unique jewelry designs and innovative projects, with plenty of inspiration to share along the way.
DO I NEED A CZEXTRUDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CLASSES?
While all six projects explore creative possibilities with an extruder, you don't necessarily need a Czextruder to join us! You can use any polymer clay extruder you already have, although some projects may require specific discs or attachments. And even if you don't own an extruder at all, you'll discover plenty of inspiration, creative ideas, and techniques that you can bring into your own polymer clay projects!

We'll enjoy three classes each day, each lasting approximately 60–90 minutes. The entire program will take around 4 hours per day, including breaks between classes, so you'll have plenty of time to learn, ask questions, and enjoy the experience!
WILL THE EVENT BE ACCESSIBLE TO PARTICIPANTS FROM DIFFERENT TIME ZONES?
Absolutely! You're welcome to join us from anywhere in the world. And if the live schedule doesn't work for your time zone, you'll have access to all the recordings afterward.
THE EVENT TIME IS NOT IDEAL FOR MY TIME ZONE. CAN I WATCH EVERYTHING LATER?
Of course! You can watch all the recorded classes whenever it suits you and connect with other attendees in our Facebook group to share your creations, ask questions, and exchange inspiration.
CAN I ACCESS RECORDINGS OF THE WORKSHOPS IF I MISS SOMETHING?
Yes! All attendees will receive lifetime access to downloadable class recordings, so you can revisit the techniques and watch the classes as many times as you like. You'll receive a download link after the event.
SHOULD I CREATE THE PROJECTS WHILE WATCHING THE LIVE CLASSES?
We recommend enjoying the live classes first, focusing on the techniques, and taking the opportunity to ask questions. You can then create the projects at your own pace afterward, using the recordings and step-by-step PDF tutorials provided for each class.
WILL THERE BE OPPORTUNITIES TO ASK QUESTIONS DURING THE CLASSES?
Absolutely! You'll have the opportunity to ask questions during each class and interact with the teachers, making the experience as engaging and helpful as possible.
ARE THERE ANY SPECIFIC TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS OR SOFTWARE NEEDED TO PARTICIPATE?
