Jewellery by the japanese artist Kanako Inoue has a certain dreamy, almost fairy tale quality to it (we can totally imagine Cinderella wearing a pair of Kanako’s milky pink earrings while dancing with the princ). But it is definitely a present day fairy tale. Floral motifs, translucent, pearly and matte surfaces – all of this makes her pieces somewhat universal, or, as she puts it, they can be matched with any outfit.
After graduating from Aichi Prefectural University of the Arts, where she studied design, Kanako started working as a freelance jewellery designer and manufacturer. She started her own brand, chica3f, which focuses on earrings and necklaces.
Kanako pays a lot of attention to texture and colour. Her colour palette is soft and subtle and her designs always offer some interesting solutions. She says that she wants to make jewellery that makes her smile when she wears it. We would like to add that wearing her jewellery would definitely put a smile on our faces.

Šperky japonské umělkyně Kanako Inoue mají vyzařují určitou snovou, téměř pohádkovou auru (úplně klidně si dokážeme představit Popelku, jak tančí s princem na plese a má přitom na uších pár mléčně růžových květinových náušnic z dílny Kanako). Je to ale pohádka odehrávající se v přítomnosti. Květinové motivy, průsvitnost, perleťové tóny i matný povrch, to vše dělá její kousky univerzálními nebo, dle jejích vlastních slov, snadno kombinovatelnými s jakýmkoliv outfitem.
Poté, co dokončila studium designu na Aichi Prefectural University of the Arts, začala pracovat jako designérka šperků na volné noze. Šperky vyrábí pod svou značkou chica3f, která se zaměřuje hlavně na náušnice a náhrdelníky. Kanako se ve své tvorbě soustředí hlavně na barvy a textury. Její barevná paleta je jemná a decentní a její design se vyznačuje zajímavými řešeními.
Kanako říká, že chce tvořit šperky, které jí vykouzlí úsměv na tváři, když je nosí. My bychom rádi dodali, že její šperky by nám úsměv na tvář zcela jistě přičarovaly.
