Dear Polymer Clay Enthusiast,
Welcome to the second secret blind challenge organized by Polymer Week for clayers in the Dutch Polymer Art Guild! We’re thrilled to provide you with tools and materials that will push your creativity and take you out of your comfort zone.
Inside the box, you’ll find several different materials essential for your creation. The challenge requires you to use at least five of these materials, so get creative and, most importantly, have fun! Utilize only minimal additional tools, such as a pasta machine, blade, roller, brooch pin, etc.
The submission deadline is May 15. Once your masterpiece is ready, please publish photos of your artwork on a white background to the Facebook group.

Good luck! Yours
POLYMER WEEK

POLYMER CLAY
Explore a selection of spring colors which go from the natural black and rose to magenta and pearl closing the palette with lilac pastel. Mix them in various ratios to create a wide range of special shades.
SMALL CUTTERS
A must-have for polymer clay artists, micro cutters help create precise, consistent shapes with ease. They’re perfect for detailing, layering, and designing intricate patterns—all while saving time and ensuring accuracy. Plus, you can reshape circular cutters using pliers to achieve custom forms!

GLASS INCLUSIONS
Take your polymer clay creations to the next level with glass inclusions! These versatile elements allow you to create striking surface effects, blend seamlessly into clay or liquid clay, and experiment with translucency and opacity. Compatible with all baking temperatures, they work with any polymer clay brand, opening up endless creative possibilities.
TEXTURE STAMP
Elevate your artwork with this geometric texture stamp, available in both negative and positive impressions. Go beyond traditional mokume gane or mica shift techniques—why not experiment with glass inclusions for even more depth and dimension?

PEARL COLOR PIGMENT
Discover the newest addition to our Color Pigments collection – the Pearl shade, designed to add a stunning shimmer and luminous effect to your creations.
-
For a soft, delicate glow, lightly dust the pigment onto raw clay using a soft brush.
-
To achieve a more intense shine, gently rub the pigment onto the surface with your fingertip.
-
For precise control and smooth application, mix it with liquid polymer clay or varnish.
-
This pigment isn’t just for surface decoration—it can also be blended directly into the clay, infusing your color palette with a rich, metallic finish.
PHONE GRIPS
A phone grip is an accessory attached at the back of the mobile phone to allow the user to hold the phone more securely. It is especially beneficial during lengthy phone calls, as it enables your fingers to use less energy when holding the phone. A phone grip prevents the phone from slipping out of your hold and ensures easier one-hand use. And now, you can decorate your own!
