Polymer Week was such an amazing, creative opportunity for everyone who attended. As a teacher, I loved being inspired by so much talent in and outside of my classrooms! Even those with less clay experience gave me the chance to see polymer clay through fresh eyes.
The teaching venue was innovative and fun. Lucy, Jiri and the rest of the staff bent over backwards to make this an amazing experience for everyone and still managed to raise a significant donation for a children's charity!
I also loved how wonderful it was to create and be social with people from all over the world. The coming together of so many people from other countries to create, was a model for the world in friendliness, cooperation and open-mindedness! Language was never a barrier thanks to the many bi-lingual, polyglot and signing attendees! There was never a dull moment and the days flew by in beautiful Pilsen, leaving me with a week I will always cherish. I would highly recommend this event to anyone!

Organizing a polymer clay event is not easy and when you think that Lucie is only 18 years old you can only be impressed by all she did. I was! I didn't know what to expect when we arrived in Pilsen, of course I had seen pictures, but the reality was even more remarkable. Depo 2015 is a surprising venue, just imagine an old industrial building transformed into a huge artistic open space! The light inside is great, the space huge and the feeling of freedom predominant. Any artist would love to work in such a place!
We met new students, reconnected with older ones and had fun with dear friends. Our days were quite busy but in the best way and in the best company. Polymer Week is an event I am honored to have been part of and that I will gladly repeat. A huge Thank You to Lucy for making it happen!

I had the opportunity to take part in the first year of Polymer Week 2017 as an interpreter and active participant at the same time. Frankly, I have to say that the atmosphere was great. liked everything – the choice of interesting and unusual venue and outstanding teachers, the program including participant care and the final raffle. The variability and complexity of projects sometimes gave me a hard time but the results were definitely worth the effort. I really enjoyed meeting polymer clay friends from all over the world and I was leaving full of experiences and inspiration. I‘m definitely looking forward to next year!

Sum up all experiences and observations from the Polymer Week to only a few sentences is pretty hard for me as to make from a full day class only a demo workshop. Spend a whole week at the event with so many new people from social media sites and also with friends was amazing for me. On the Polymer Week I was a teacher, attendee, assistant in the free clay zone… and it was brilliant. Every of these roles gave me a new knowledge and friends. I have enough experiences until the second year.

Polymer Week 2017 was a clay and social event with ten of classes, teachers and hundred of attendees. I enjoyed a very nice atmosphere, amazing projects, and kind people. I admire organizations of this event, which offered us a lot of next additions. Also, an exhibition was a part of the program, there was a brand new Polymer Week Magazine, goodie bags, raffle, photo wall, a store with tools, free clay zone etc. For me, as a teacher and attendee, it was a big experience and I look forward to the next year.

Polymer Week was for me a great experience. It was great to learn so much in a short time, to meet wonderful people -first of all Lucy and Jiri - the organizers, then the teachers and the the other participants . Even if the participants spoke different languages, the "clay" language was the the unifying element! I learned a lot, I left Polymer Week feeling part of a great community and eager to return in Pilsen soon!
